What a garden! My echinacea and balloon flowers are coming to the end. Asters are getting ready for their fall show. Could that be a black swallowtail?

My phlox would be blossoming but the deer eat all of the flowers off. I am going to replace them with anise hyssop. You photos are beautiful.

It’s good to have a healthy respect for bees. I find they ignore me generally, hard at work. Wasps are the hotheaded ones, where I find they’ll sting me if I get in their meter squared sized space.
