March 8th is International Women’s Day. This day seems to be celebrated more in other parts of the world than in the United States. In the past, friends from Colombia, Chile and Spain have emailed wishing me a happy Women’s Day. In the United States, it is a quiet, obscure event. Maybe I can work to change that.
Here at Fake Flamenco every day is International Women’s Day!
Here’s to the great women featured so far this year: María Paz Castillo and Fernanda Martínez, Dayanna De La Cruz, Ana Castillo, Matilda Jackson and Silvia Webber (no photos available), Angela Trudell Vasquez and Isabel Coixet.

And Queen Calafia!

To all the women readers near and far, have a heck of a day! You are important, you are part of the backbone of the world, I admire your strength.
Gracias for reading Fake Flamenco! ¡Olé! –Rebecca
Thank you, Rebecca! A Happy Women’s Day to you, too ❤ More than ever before, our world needs our strong backbone.

Thanks for your post. March 9 was a special day here in Mexico. A women’s strike. You may find my last post interesting.
(How’s your recovery?)

Good. PT is a must. It will allow you to recover fully and strengthen muscles. 👏🏻
