International Women’s Day!

March 8th is International Women’s Day. This day seems to be celebrated more in other parts of the world than in the United States. In the past, friends from Colombia, Chile and Spain have emailed wishing me a happy Women’s Day. In the United States, it is a quiet, obscure event. Maybe I can work to change that.

Here at Fake Flamenco every day is International Women’s Day!

Here’s to the great women featured so far this year: María Paz Castillo and Fernanda Martínez, Dayanna De La Cruz, Ana Castillo, Matilda Jackson and Silvia Webber (no photos available), Angela Trudell Vasquez and Isabel Coixet.
