Aster flowers may be a butterfly magnet, but they are a bee hot spot.

    1. I seem to remember from one of your earlier posts that you have a wonderful garden. You grow food crops and fruit trees in your plot of land in Jamaica, correct? Thank you for supporting pollinators, they need us and we need them. : )

      1. Wonderful, the world needs more organic farmers. What are your staple crops? We have a small vegetable garden, which gives us declious dinners in the summer. This fall we’ve made a hearty soup from our pumpkins.

      2. Yes pumpkins make a wonderful soup, when I started growing my own pumpkins without chemical fertilizer they tasted more delicious. Fall, spring and the other seasons must be nice to experience. because I live in the topics the seasons are not distinguished.

I grow a variety but peas, beans, green leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, coco, dasheen, breadfruit, ackee, coconut are my most stable crops.
