Dusk begins near five pm this time of year in Wisconsin. The three of us were happy to get a walk in this afternoon before dark. We went to Edna Taylor Conservation Park, fifteen minutes and a world away.

Thanks, Debbie. Would love to walk and chat photography with you. We’ve seen sandhill cranes there, but weren’t spot on for the great shot like you were with the kingfisher.

Precisely, feels so wild 4 miles from the city center.

How tranquil! I especially love how you captured the dark ripples of the lake; it really makes for a somber, atmospheric image! Goes to show that one can find adventure in one’s own backyard, and I look forward to seeing what else you do in the next weekends to come. 🙂

Thanks very much! I loved how lacy they were. Such simple beauty. Not as flashy as flowers, yet fetching.
