This week in the United States wasn’t so funny. So here is a sight that made me laugh when I was buying cupcakes for Eagle’s birthday last week.

Do you prefer indoor or outdoor dining today?
Check out Debbie and Friends’ great pics at Six Word Saturday.

As ‘dining’ has connotations of dining with friends, being sociable and so on, the answer has to be ‘neither’ just now, sadly. Outside? You must be joking. Indoors? Well, here it’s currently against the law anyway. So I’ll just stay home, thanks very much.

Very wise, Margaret. Perhaps after 20 January we’ll get rational rules like you mentioned.

This gave me a chuckle! I enjoy seeing the subtle irony in daily life. Crazy as this week has been in politics, I hope you’re not too bothered by it all, and here’s hoping things will die down as the weeks progress. Have a good weekend!

Glad it made you chuckle. I think we have a stronger appreciation for democracy than we did 4 years ago… But for this post I wanted to keep it light and silly. 🙂

Flippin heck, that looks cold 🙂 🙂 Normally still eating outdoors, Rebecca, but we have a weekend curfew from 1pm so not today. I don’t mind indoors if well spaced. No tourists around at present so it’s not a bad option. Have a good weekend!

Thanks, Jo. Your climate is a tad warmer than ours at present. : ) Curfews would not be a bad idea for us to lower our infection rate.

Since c we’ve always eaten outdoors. Even coffee is taken outdoors. But to be honest we’ve not been to a restaurant since beg of OCtober and a cafe since Beg December. We take our coffee in a flask and sit on the clifftops overlooking the beach. We then don’t need to stress about people not social distancing.

Yes, we’ve not eaten in a restaurant since last March, indoors or out. We have eaten quite a bit of take out/away food, though! Clifftop coffee sounds wonderful.

Normally, I prefer dining out but looking at the snow, maybe that wouldn’t be a good idea.

Have to admit that I love seeing the creativity and ingenuity of small business owners during this difficult time. I hope it works for this business, because the world can’t have too many cupcakes!👍🧁

Great comment, Laurie. Yes, I admire the out of the box thinking. And spring is just a few months away. The cupcakes were fantastic and we will be going back for more. : )
