    1. In England, they have daffodils already, in Portugal they’re planting vegetables. When I see those photos, I understand better how you must feel! Spring is welcome to show its flowery face at any time. 🙂

  1. Not lots of flowers here, Rebecca, and in the desert, not the usual spring flowers like these that I’ve always enjoyed in the Midwest. However, our prickly pear cactus is starting to get fruit, the citrus trees are budding, and bushes are flowering as well.

    1. Thanks for the flower report, Janet. Do you harvest the prickly pears? I did one year and it was delicious. Which kinds of citrus do you grow? My uncle had a wonderful grapefruit tree at his former house in Phoenix.

      1. I don’t harvest them. We don’t have any citrus trees at the house, but there are orange, lemon, and grapefruit trees around here. There used to be lots of citrus groves but housing and commercial buildings have pushed them out.
