Frank Lloyd Wright’s the Bee’s Knees

Frank Lloyd Wright specialized in Prairie Style architecture. He also lived here in Wisconsin for part of his adult life. Olbrich Gardens which I have mentioned in previous posts has buildings made out of natural materials that fit into the landscape, Prairie style. Their native bee hotel is in the same vein.

How do you help out local pollinators?

  1. The garden where we live is not our own. But our landlord has plenty of hidey-holes of piles of logs and bark and leaves and so on, so I think there are plenty of places for pollinators to make themselves at home. I hope so.

  2. Awesome bee hotel and post! I enjoy visiting Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West in Scottsdale, whenever I can. He was a brilliant man and had many inventions, including his innovative and stunning architecture, of course.
