2 Surprises On My Walk Yesterday

A sunny day in Madison yesterday afternoon, the first all week, I donned my mask and went for a walk. The rain washed all the surfaces clean and even the buildings looked brighter. Near the corner of two busy streets I found unique art contributions. One decorated the lower half of a kiosk in disuse; not many concerts happening in Madison right now.

The other was a homespun message that every person needs to hear.

The sun and the artists uplifted my spirits.

What made you happy this week?

  1. Well, this week was my birthday, so I was pleasantly-surprised that my cubicle was extravagantly-decorated when I walked into the office. Got lovely presents from my coworkers, and an extended three-day weekend to enjoy good food and a bit of out-and-about away from home! The artwork you saw looks wonderful, and it’s really in the small details of these random street-arts that we can appreciate the beauty of life! Thanks for sharing, Rebecca!
