I love your post today, Rebecca. My thoughts have also been in Minnesota this week. One small step to build on. My mind has also been on the incessant itching from getting into poison oak. No good deed of yardwork goes unpunished. The prednisone is helping. Patience need but in short supply.

Thanks very much, Janet. Yes, it is a positive step. So sorry to hear about your poison oak. I’ve had poison ivy twice in my life, fairly severely. Calamine lotion and oatmeal baths helped me a lot. Hope it subsides soon!

Like Becky, I agree you’ve chosen a great symbol for renewal and change. Which, in another context, is something we need to be aware of in this week of Earth Day..

Thanks, Margaret. Yes, repair and renewal are important in the areas of social and environmental justice, this week and every week of the year. I appreciate your comment.
