When 2 or 3 Dragons Meet

Perhaps dragons reveal more about the personality of the artist or of the viewer than they do about mythology. See what you think of these serpentine beasts. Below is a coy, shy dragon that might sit on your shoulder and fly love notes to your beloved.

The two headed Asian dragon below looks far fiercer that the dragon above.

  1. My wife and I were in London in 1992 for my work.. While watching TV a cartoon came on showing a small bird in a tree singing. From the castle in the background, came a baby dragon to see what the bird was doing. The little dragon wanted to learn how to sing. The bird gave him an example an then motioned for him to try.

Baby dragon puffed up and let out a burst of flame that enfulfed tree and bird, turning both to cinders. Baby dragon got that “holy *%^#” look on his face, put the chared bird back in the tree, and beat feet for the castle.

We laughed so hard our neighbors beat on the walls telling us to shut up.

  2. Hey there, Rebecca 🙂 I do like dragons a lot… I remember when Dragonheart came out in 1996, I think I went to see it 5 or 6 times at the movie theater. In the French version, Philippe Noiret was giving Draco his voice… It still gives me chills after 25 years 😉

  3. I have no fascination for dragons, but I’ve enjoyed watching movies with the dragon as the main character, such as in Eragon (2006) and the How to Train Your Dragon (2010) animated film series.
