Grandad Bluff is the spot I remember best from our sisters and family trip around 2015. We met in La Crosse; my sister, her husband and kids drove south from Minneapolis and we drove west from Madison. This was our first trip with just our two families. The time went so fast.
I enjoyed hiking the bluff. The views of the city and the Mississippi Valley were outstanding.

The kids seemed to have a lot of fun too.

I look forward to the days when we can travel again together. Covid variants to cure and bridges to rebuild. ¡Olé! –Rebecca

#TreeSquare

For the first time since the lockdown, my sister and I got together with our sons and a daughter-in-law for a birthday celebration at one of our favorite restaurants.

When I lived in Minneapolis, it felt like an honor to see that amazing river every day. The Mississippi and I often sang “Old Man River” together.

Thanks for your comments. That’s a classic! Paul Robeson had such a wonderful voice.
