On our way to Lake Michigan, we drove through a neighborhood of fancy houses with pristine grass and shrubs. I saw this amazing miniature dwelling and pulled over quickly to capture it in a photo.

Is that a metal ladder I see on the far side of the tree house? Funny, I didn’t see it when I took the photo.

Wonder if they give tours? Perhaps exclusively for the under 1 meter high set…
Thanks for stopping by today! ¡Olé! –Rebecca

Oooh-er. Do I fancy that as my little retreat from the day-to-day? Not sure. Maybe something a little more hidden?

Thanks for your observations, Margaret. More beautiful than practical, rather the sports car of tree houses. 🙂

Yes, Janet. I’m very curious too! Handmade modern mini furniture?

Me too. I wonder how often people knock on the house front door, burning with curiosity… Very tempting.

Awesome share, Rebecca. That would not pass the HOA restrictions in my neighborhood. 😆

Really? Must say that’s a vote for it in my book 😉 I’m sure our house color scheme wouldn’t fit either! (Purple)

Yes, welcome to the suburbs. 😞 Many communities in the Phoenix area are governed by HOAs. The restrictions can be helpful and yet, restrictive too.

Someone quoted Picasso on their website the other day, about how taste gets in the way of creativity. But I can see that regulating the palette and yard content would preserve the peace!

Great quote! I will need to look that up. Yes, HOAs are good and bad. In Tucson, we did not live in an HOA and the houses were far apart, built on beautiful land teeming with wildlife. It took some getting used to, but I do miss it.

Wow, “teeming with wildlife” sounds great. Each place has its forte and Achilles heel.

It was a wonderful living experience, with gorgeous views of the city too. You are right – there is no “perfect” place.

Thanks, Lisa. One of my favorite tree house designs I’ve seen, other than one my dad designed for a Madison business.

Love it! It seems like the perfect place to get away for reading and writing. On the other hand, it’s very out-of-place among the neighboring housing units.

Thanks, Rosaliene. It does look like a great place to write. It did not match the surrounding architecture, good observation.

Certainly beats the tree houses that we built as kids! I can imagine you could use that tree house to crawl in and cozy up with a book!

Yes, Rebecca. This is not a neighborhood kids with hammers, old boards and nails kind of affair! I’d like to read a book in that space too. : )

A child’s dream place or an adults reading corner with the ladder pulled up. Thanks 😊

Yes, I can imagine it as either. Thanks, Sandy.

I would love something like this, but I think my husband would still find a way to climb the ladder, peep through the window, and ask me a question
lol

Hee hee. And it would look like he was levitating, through the treehouse window.

Isn’t it amazing when you take a photo and later discover things in the image that you hadn’t noticed before…

I know right where that is! In Whitefish Bay, right? My parents still live in Glendale, so I go by there quite a bit when I’m back in town. Cool, isn’t it? Saludos.
