On our way to Lake Michigan, we drove through a neighborhood of fancy houses with pristine grass and shrubs. I saw this amazing miniature dwelling and pulled over quickly to capture it in a photo.
Is that a metal ladder I see on the far side of the tree house? Funny, I didn’t see it when I took the photo.
Wonder if they give tours? Perhaps exclusively for the under 1 meter high set…

Yes, welcome to the suburbs. 😞 Many communities in the Phoenix area are governed by HOAs. The restrictions can be helpful and yet, restrictive too.

Someone quoted Picasso on their website the other day, about how taste gets in the way of creativity. But I can see that regulating the palette and yard content would preserve the peace!

Great quote! I will need to look that up. Yes, HOAs are good and bad. In Tucson, we did not live in an HOA and the houses were far apart, built on beautiful land teeming with wildlife. It took some getting used to, but I do miss it.

Love it! It seems like the perfect place to get away for reading and writing. On the other hand, it’s very out-of-place among the neighboring housing units.

Certainly beats the tree houses that we built as kids! I can imagine you could use that tree house to crawl in and cozy up with a book!
