que encontrarse con alguien de absurdo parecido

A true friend is a guiding star
who lights the earth way even from afar.
No one walks life’s path alone
who has a friend in heart or home.

I searched for someone, on whom I could depend
Someone who was real, who needed not pretend
Was it possible to ask someone to recommend
I required that my feelings they must comprehend
As I worked on my list, I often would amends
It mattered not how long, I finally found a friend

Friends are the pillars of our life
They cut all our woes with a knife
For different situations they carry a different hue
They joke loudly with us, as if on cue
Guiding us through the clouds like a lamp,
They certainly never let us slip off the ramp!!
Laughing the hardest when we fall
They are the ones who come rushing to us when we call
Let us celebrate friendship like never before
While partying all day at the sea-shore!!

Friendship
Through that purple door, the green, the yellow,
each gate a portal, trust, a glow, the flow
of hope, a threshold to another soul.
Up that ladder, then down the rabbit hole
of the unknown in search of distante shores,
new hands, old hearts to hold forever more.
––Britta
manos nuevas y corazones antiguos perennemente.
–Britta (traducción por Rebecca)

Friends are chosen family, so choose wisely For they come to know you intimately They shape you in ways And I know I'm speaking in clichés You will come across foes and they'll tear you down That's when you know who'll be by you hon The good ones are hard to come by Keep them and maybe give them pie Time flies by, memories made, you need friends to survive Time says hush. By the gong of time you live –Dreamgirl Los amigos son una familia elegida, así elige bien porque íntimamente llegan a conocerte también.

Thank you Rosaliene. The poets covered well so many aspects of friendship. Yes, clever historical look at maintaining friendships on Suzette’s part.
