Do You Want Fries with That?

Thursday I was worried, since I hadn’t found a good Six Word Saturday photo yet. Then, driving Eagle home from school, there was the answer parked on East Washington Avenue. The Wienermobile!

From the front, the Wienermobile reminds me of a bug, perhaps a caterpillar.

Backing this baby up could be mighty challenging!

When I finished taking the next photo, a tour group came out of the building and entered the Weinermobile. Could we go on a tour one day? I wonder what kind of license I’d need to drive one of these? Could we rent one for a mobile party? (under investigation)

    1. Yes, Britta, I think we’d need the wonders of German compound words like Fahrvergnugen (driving enjoyment), Glückspilz (lucky person), bemerkenswert (Worthy of remark). That was me depending on an e-dictionary. Or we could rely on your expertise to suggest a few. 🙂

      1. Actually, I might write a blog about German compound words in the not too distant future. The Wienermobile proves to be quite an inspiration! I’ve got a kitchen gadget which is called ‘Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher’, now how’s that for a monster compound?

      2. All will be revealed in due course… My Eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher… well, I need to take a picture, to do it justice. Will blog about it soon. All inspired by your Wienermobile. Who would have thought… One blog leads to another.

  1. I think fries might be overkill for me, as I usually am pretty full after one hot dog (especially if it’s loaded with condiments!). But I can’t say no if the opportunity arises! 😉
