Is flatfoot an originally British term?

Good question, Wynne. I think it’s a US term from around 1913 when police would patrol their beat on foot.

Hope he wasn’t in the middle of something important!
Side note: Is it just me or does anyone else get nervous when the vehicle is parked that far back on the tow truck?

Yes, she might have been in the middle of a chase! Oh, no engine trouble… I get nervous about the vehicles on the edge of car transports, yes.

I hope not.. but at least it doesn’t look like there’s any damage so we can at least assume the driver is okay.
I’m glad it’s not just me!

I was thinking the same thing, glad it wasn’t crunched in an accident. Yes, I get nervous driving behind car transports when it looks like the auto will roll right off! : )

Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen very often.
Have a lovely week!
