Took this photo in the early morning before Eagle’s orthodontic appointment. Poem below.

Orthodontia
Cold steel gray morn
Buccal engineers present
Open your mouth wide.
Wired metal brackets
Putting pearls in a necklace
A beautiful smile.
–Rebecca Cuningham
Cielos del fin de semana #77: Cabeza en las nubes
Tomé esta foto en la madrugada antes de la cita con el ortodentista de Eagle. Poema sigue.
Ortodontia
Mañana de hierro
Ingenieros bucales
Abre y cierra la boca.
Fiambres, metal
Perlas van en un collar
Sonrisa linda.
–Rebecca Cuningham (traducción)

Thanks, Michele. The second line was to be stoic’s disciples, but it seemed too serious 🙂 Orthodontists and dentists…

Pearls on a necklace. Lovely. When *I* think of braces, my teeth ache.

The clouds look very stormy! Their wave-like pattern is very hypnotic, almost like the ocean, but from up above…stay safe, Rebecca!

Thanks, Rebecca. The clouds looked a wee bit unfriendly, and quite dramatic. Knock on wood that we have no tornadoes in November. They are usually a summer weather pattern.

Poor Eagle but a beautiful sky. Clouds like this always remind me a bit of dragon scales.

Thanks for the empathy, Sheri. Dragon scales. Cool thought. What a mighty dragon!

Any time. And thank you. It’s fun to imagine dragons up there, rolling just close enough to make an impression.
