I am Minneapolis as the halfway point to my trip to Duluth for my uncle’s funeral tomorrow. After sitting all day riding the bus here I wanted to stretch my legs. I hiked upstairs in the building where my parents have their flat and saw this cool artwork. It is a collage piece that evokes tree rings or an eye.

What does the artwork represent for you?
¡Olé! –Rebecca
Part of Debbie’s Six Word Saturday.
Enlarged, and flat upon th ground, it would be a wonderful meeting place for an experience to be shared together.

More like an iris than a tree.

Everyone has her own opinion. From farther away it looks more like a tree.

Considering your loss of another loved one, I see the collage as the pulsating life-force of love and empathy that will hold your extended family together during your shared loss and grief ❤

I’ve seen in movies, such things are generally keys to something.
Now that you have shared it on a blog, many people will come finding you.
Maybe it’s time for some RC adventures.

I think you can see both in it. It is a wonderful and beautiful work.
I’ve been wracking my brain for a meaning, but I think that an emotional response is better than an intellectual one for this piece. (And many others!)

Thanks for your comments. I agree that art is often about emotional responses. This piece feels like all are one.
