See the last photos for the first month of the year; for Eagle and for me. Eagle’s final January photo was a frosty window study. I like the composition and colors.

My last photo is a landscape shot (in portrait mode) from cross country skiing with Eagle Monday at the Arboretum after our big snowy weekend. Welcome to Wisconsin Winter!

How was the end of January for you?

I just love both Last Photos Rebecca. I have to ask why the frosty one other than wonderful colours and hazy view. So much snow it’s crazy especially from someone who has never seen or been in snow. Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂

The frosty window gives the photo the impression of being a painting. Cool! The winter wonderland is beautiful. Fun that you did this share together! January was a busy month that left me rather tired! And the year has just begun. 😆

Thanks, Michele. Glad you like Eagle’s shot. Were you at a yoga retreat? Calmer February in store?

Yes, very cool effect, even if unintentional. I wish I was at a yoga retreat. Sounds good! I doubt February will be calmer, but I really have no complaints. 😊 Thank you.

I like Eagle’s – the edge of the window makes a nice frame!

Thanks, Devang. If you need to cool down one hot spring day, you can stare at the frozen tundra.

I will do that for sure.

No snow so far this winter here in the piedmont of North Carolina — and very little even in the mountains. Quite different from the winters when I was in college at Appalachian State a mere 50 (yikes!!!) years ago. The daffodils started blooming here last week and I saw a crocus blossom yesterday right on schedule. A welcome sight, since I’m not a winter person.
