We lift a glass to cloudy skies, from whence cometh our rain, sleet and snow…

I am fascinated with this machinery; person lifts, telescopic and articulating boom lifts. I dream of renting one for a day, although that’s 360 degrees of trouble I could get into… 😉
Poetry challenge: One day left to submit your poem to celebrate women’s history month. Click here for details.

Have fun! Would be disastrous for nonmechanical me! 😂

I’d need to make sure my mechanical side was up that day, rather than the poet. 😉

What does pregnant sky means??
I read it thrice 😀
Rent one and just do it 🤭

Thanks, Devang. Glad it caught your eye. If the crops are dry do you have better hopes of rain from a sunny or a cloudy “pregnant” with rain sky? Poetic license 😉

I was so busy looking for people in those lifts that I forgot about pregnant skies birthing rain. (In the construction theme, it could be ‘raining men’ … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5aZJBLAu1E

*shakes head* It’s so hard to believe there’s snow anywhere right now. The last three or four days have been over 80° here.

Thanks, Sheri. We have more snow now than we did in the photo! I’m okay with snow in March. May, that will be another story.

I went in a utility company bucket truck once when I was doing a project wiring up the Internet (when the internet was wired). It was probably only 40 feet up but it was a little tippy and fun!

That photo’s great, Rebecca! And apologies for not joining in this month’s poetry challenge. Family staying has meant I haven’t had a moment to call my own, and next month I’m away in Spain (Olé!) visiting daughter and family, so I might not make it then either. But you haven’t got rid of me – I look forward to reading all this month’s entries.
