Thursday morning I walked home from the dentist and saw three types of vines covering a park fence. Two I recognized: maiden’s bower and morning glory. The third was mysterious; I’m hoping a reader can tell me what flower it is.

Good morning; clean bill of health at the dentist and lovely flowers to boot.

Looked it up late last night. It may be firecracker vine or Spanish flag. 🙂

Good news on the teeth front! Congrats. You must be flossing rigorously!

Thank you, I do floss nearly every day. The dentist would like me to floss even more often and thoroughly. 🙂

Ugh, you’ve reminded me that I need to get my yearly dental check, now long overdue. I’m no help when it comes to flowers in your part of the world. However, it’s a beautiful flowering vine to brighten one’s day. A young neighbor who has taken up gardening has a Google app that allows you to identify plants simply by photographing them with your smartphone. It’s called PlantNet Plant Identification.

Hi Rosaliene, our dentist doesn’t let us escape until we make our next appointment . 😉 We see ours twice a year for cleanings because we get fewer cavities that way. I will check out the app, thanks for the recommendation.

Firecracker bush!
We had our long overdue dental check ups on Thursday. I’m OK, but hubby (the Cheeseseller) needs a tooth extracted…..

Thanks Kim! It’s lives up to its name. Sorry about hubby’s tooth.

Beautiful photos! I love that you can walk home from the dentist. With things being so spread out where I live, we don’t walk anywhere, except to our cars. 😞

Thanks, Michele. We can walk to the grocery store, hardware store, dentist and restaurants. We are lucky to be in a town where shops and housing are near to one another. 🙂

I don’t know what they are, but I like them. Congrats on the dentist visit outcome. I never mind going to the dentist as I rarely have anything wrong. 🙂 But I do take care of my teeth.

I’m sure teeth regeneration is in the future, but I’m not betting on it in the next 50 years. 🙂
