This week I’ll be vacationing with my family. We’ll work on puzzles, watch classic movies, hike in nature and maybe go to the (frozen) beach of a lake or two. For us togetherness counts for more than a luxurious locale. More details when I return to blogging next week.

Congratulations, Rebecca on your four-year anniversary! I enjoy reading and learning from you, and of of course, I appreciate your support and poetic challenges. I am with you… time together over luxury. One of my favorite family vacation memories was flying a $1 Barbie kite with my daughter on a beach in San Diego. Twenty-four years ago, and still one of my favorite memories!
